Sparrows
Sparrows used to be a very common sight when we were growing up in a small town. I remember very clearly how there was a pair who built their nest near the roof, and were no botheration at. There would be
a rare occurrence of a featherless fledging falling off which of course resulted in its premature death.
These days houses are built in such a way that no creature feathered or furred is welcome. I hear the low decible chirping only in the summer.......wonder where they go in the other seasons. I have placed an order for a couple of sparrow homes some weeks back and waiting. I think I should try to assemble something on my own before it is too late.
